Three 2010 whites from Jean Monnier






2010 Jean Monnier Beaune 1er Cru Les Montrevenots blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Quite fruity nose, more subdued minerals, yellow plums notes. Fresh acidity, bit oaky for the fruit and body, good length. 86

2010 Jean Monnier Meursault Vieilles Vignes:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals and again fruity nose. Fresh acidity, fruity and fresh feel to it, good length. 88

2010 Jean Monnier Meursault 1er cru Genevrières:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, vanilla and straight out wood on the nose. Fresh acidity, creamy texture, fruity and quite lively, the barrels are more hidden on the palate, ripe orange lemonade finish, good length. 89
