Burgundy evening, excellent 99 Grivot Les Suchots, 96 Bousse d'Or and more

2004 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Cras:
Towards lemon yellow. Bit tight first, apples, citrus and minerals, some butter and smoky notes with air. Fresh acidity, rounded, lovely balance, fresh and quite crisp, mineraly finish, long. 92

2004 Rossignol-Trapet Latricieres-Chambertin:
Bright pale ruby, thin garnet rim. Red berries, slightly oaky behind and fairly clean nose, not as seductive as some. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit oaky palate, but less so with air, slightly firm, quite pure red berries fruit, long finish. 92

2001 Chantal Lescure Clos de Vougeot:
Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, red berries, floral with air, stil a bit oaky nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit cooked fruit with air, spicy and oaky finish, long. 90

1996 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru Clos de la Bousse d'Or:
Bright garnet, brick rim. Scented, floral, nuanced, red berries, starting touch of sous bois, layered and transparent nose, gorgeous. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, mouthwatering, again layered and nuanced, fresh and lively, just a bit short. I think the best Volnay I've had. 94

1999 Louis Jadot Sauvigny-Lès-Beaune Les Hauts Jarrons:
Bright ruby, garnet rim. Red berries and scented nose, developong, not too complex. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and elegant, bit short. 88

1999 Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots:
Ruby. Incredibly scented nose, floral, quite intense and open, red berries, some vanilla, mint notes, gorgeous nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, fairly rich and intense, yet transparent and nuanced, very refreshing and long. 95

2009 Montille Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens-bas:

Bright ruby. Tight and very fruity first, but fairly quickly developes into more pure red berries, floral notes and an almost transparent nose, very elegant. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, nuanced, fresh and lively, bit intense, fruity if still lean, refreshing, long finish. 93

1985 Grans-Fassian Leiwener Klostergarten Riesling Eiswein:
Golden amber. Apricots, honey, dried fruits, raisins, intense and rich nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity, elegant, vibrant, gorgeous and mouthwatering, long finish. 94
