1970 Warre's, Tercentenary, Vintage Port;
Brick with golden hue, very intense, leaps out of the glass, some cherries and morellos, redcurrants, caramel and blackcurrants behind. High alcohol that unfortunatelly shines through and ruins a bit, behind it, elegant fruit, lean body and alcoholic finish. Even more alcohol the day after. 82 But on the fourth day, it gained a lot of body and complexity, more fruit, leather, all the alcohol seemed way more balanced. 88
My father turning 60, he was 20 at this vintage!
