2007 Peter Jakob Kühn Riesling Quarzit:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, fruity and ripe kose, minerals beneath. Fresh acidity, leaner palate, bitter notes, good length. 87

2011 Balthasar Ress Rüdesheim Riesling Trocken:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, fruity and minerals nose, floral touch. Fresh acidity, elegant and quite lively, fruity, good length. 88

2006 Peter Jakob Kühn Oestricher Lenchen Riesling Spätlese:
Towards lemon yellow. Apples, starting petroleum and minerals nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, elegant and lively, quite playful, good length. 89

2008 R. König Assmanshäuser Frankenthal Spätburgunder Spätlese Trocken: 
Bright ruby. Red berries, herbs, some vanilla and minerals nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and a bit oaky palate, slightly rough textured, needs a few years more, good length. 88

2006 Diefenhardt Martinsthaler Langenberg Riesling Beerenauslese:
Towards golden. Apples, pineapples, intense and deep nose, dried apricots. Fresh acidity, elegant and lively, fruity, lacks nuances, good length. 89

2005 Georg Breuer Rheingau "Pinot Port":
Pale ruby, watery rim. Nuanced, fruity, figs and sweet red berries nose. Scented. Fresh acidity, lean and refreshing, elegant and almost creamy texture, actually balanced by slightly hot (14,4%) alcohol. Good length. Dirk Niepoort consults on the making of this special and lovely wine. 88
