Wittmann tasting



2012 Wittmann Silvaner Trocken:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, yellow fruity and a slight creamy note on the nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, slight bitter touch, elegant, almost creamy texture, good length. 86

2012 Wittmann Westhofener Silvaner Trocken:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, pear, slightly yeasty, yellow fruity nose. Fresh acidity, yellow fruity palate, almost smoky minerals beneath, good length. 88

2012 Wittmann Riesling Trocken:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, some floral notes and elegant citrus nose. Fresh acidity, lively, minerals, quite refreshing, lemony finish, good length. 87

2012 Wittmann Westhofener Riesling Trocken:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, almost chalky notes, plaster and citrus nose. Fresh acidity, lively, lemony, minerals, a bit tight textured with more open fruit. Long. 90

2012 Wittmann Kirchspiel Riesling GG:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, lime, minerals, nuanced and layered nose. Fresh acidity, mineraly and citrusy with a slight white pepper note in the back, mineraly, mouthwatering, long finish. 92

2011 Wittmann Kirchspiel Riesling GG:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, lime, floral, more subdued minerals, nuanced and elegant nose. Fresh acidity, rounder and fruitier, fresh apples palate, elegant texture, nuanced and long. 91
