1947 Pichon Baron and more

2000 Antinori Solaia:
Served blind. Deep ruby. Rich. Massive, alcoholic, ripe, sweet. Vulgar nose. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, leaner palate than nose, rich, bit warm, not fully balanced. 86

1966 Château Pichon-Longueville Baron:
Danish bottling. Very top shoulder fill, moist earthy smelling cork. Dark ruby with brick rim. Earthy, wood polish nose, figs and dades, leather with more air, bit rough nose. Fresh acidity, lean first but ads and ads, almost sweet. 90

1947 Château Pichon-Longueville Baron:
Schröder & Schyler bottle. Top shoulder fill, ruby with brick rim. Some red berries, liquorice, iodine, very mature nose. Leather and nuanced, detailed. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, somewhat fresher palate, bit lean but some figs and prunes, lean but quite focused, long, some iodine finish. You feel a touch the warmth of the vintage. 92
