1982 Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou;
Ruby with brick rim. Mature, prunes, cedar, cassis, hints of leather. Slightly sweet fruit and mouthfeel, fresh acidity, very ripe tannins, great balance, a bit lean maybe for the fruit, very long finish. 90

1982 Chateau Cos d'Estournel;
Ruby with brick rim. Vanilla, red berries, biscquits, blackberries and butter. Good acidity, but not that fresh, mature tannins, slightly dry finish, a bit sweetish fruit again. 87

1982 Chateau Calon Segur;
Ruby with broad brick rim. Perfumed, prunes, roses and violets. Mature but some astringent tannins, ok acidity, seems to lack some freshness and seems to dry a bit at the end. 86
