2000 Chateau Cantenac Brown;
Ruby with thin garnet rim, youthfull, a bit sweetish fruit, pencil, some floral notes, cassis, leather, elegant Margaux. Soft attack, balanced, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, a bit seductive, long finish, keep 10 years. 90

1978 Fontanafredda Barolo Vigna San Pietro;
Pale ruby with thin orange rim, mature, pepper, tar, roses, prunes and dried fruits. Nat as intence as normal for a Barolo at this age, very mature, some tannins, good acidity. Open up after one hour, much more complex and fruitdriven (dried fruits), died after three hours from opening. Not decanted. 88
