Pale lemon yellow, elegnat bubbles, slightly oxidized apples, youthfull, minerals, wet plaster, stones, elegant mousse, fresh acidity, extremelly well balanced, very elegant, toast and freshly baked bread. Long finish. 93
1996 Bruno Giacosa, Barolo Riserva;
Ruby, garnet rim. Very young, hints of pepper, red berries, hints of green and herbal notes, slight volatility, lots of acidity, wall of very ripe tannins, absolutelly not ready to drink, I would not get this wine if I had not tasted more mature ones. Keep 10 years before trying, at this stage 88, I'm shure it will be higher with age.
2005 Blaxstad Vingård, Vidal Icewine; (Sweden)
Pale golden, sweet of honney, some pear, apricots, quite sweet, fresh acidity, balanced, fresh and clean fruit, not too complex, but elegant, long finish. 83
