01 Pichon Baron and Rauzan Ségla

2007 S de Suduiraut:
Pale lemon yellow. Lime and grapefruit nose, minerals. Fresh acidity, elegant and fairly lively body and palate, working better with the salmon it was served with than expected. 88

2001 Château Pichon Longueville Baron:
Ruby. Cassis, starting figs, leather, elegant, complex and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant and drinking very well now, even if it can be layed down for another ten years plus. 93

2001 Château Rauzan-Ségla:
Ruby. Cassis, blueberriesand slightly scented nose, elegant. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant, lovely and drinking very well now, another surprise of the drinkability of the 01's now, even if I preffer them older. 93
