Louis Jadot



 2011 Louis Jadot Beaujolaise Village:

Bright ruby. Fruity and easy going nose. Fresh acidity, ripe and few tannins, easy going, fresh. 78

2010 Louis Jadot Bourgogne Rouge:
Bright ruby. Fruity, some strawberries on the nose, quite pure. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, easy going, quite refreshing. 82

2009 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Boudriottes:
Bright ruby. Scented, fruity, strawberries and somewhat riper style but never rich. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite elegant, could be more nuanced. Good length. 87

2006 Louis Jadot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Suchots:
Ruby with garnet rim. Strawberries and somewhat more evolving notes, but just beginning. Scented and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, with a tannic backbone which together with the acidity carries the fruit quite nicely. Good length. 88+

2011 Louis Jadot Macon:
Pale lemon yellow. Fruity, apples and yellow fruits on the nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, easy going, straight forward. Quaffable. 81


2011 Louis Jadot Bourgogne Blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Some apples and a faint hint of minerals on the nose. Fresh acidity, refreshing, fairly crispy, lemony finish. 83

2011 Louis Jadot Chablis:
Pale lemon yellow. Some gooseberries, asparagus and a few minerals. Quite crisp acidity that quickly rounds off to a fairly fruity Chablis. Easy. 83

2009 Louis Jadot Beaune-Greves 1er Cru:
Pale lemon yellow. Some minerals, barrel notes, butter and apples. Not too intense. Fresh acidity, refreshing and but also fatter body and texture, butter touch keeps on, good length. 87

2008 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Folatieres:
Pale lemon yellow. Some yellow fruits, ripe citrus, barrel notes and slightly fatty nose. A little bit rich. Fresh acidity, minerals and some flinty notes, citrusy and apples, refreshing finish. Long. 89+

2012 Louis Jadot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Grande Montagne:
Barrel sample. Pale lemon yellow. Apples, some subdued minerals and orange flowers. Fresh acidity, fruity but more minerals, elegant, quite long. 89




2012 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Garenne:
Barrel sample. Pale lemon yellow. Apples, almost flinty minerals, elegant fruit and tighter style. Fresh acidity, fruity but tight, elegant, almost nuanced. 90

2012 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Garenne:
Barrel sample. Pale lemon yellow. Very apply and some minerals on the nose, subdued nose. Fresh acidity, fresh and lively, elegant and refreshing, long. 90

2012 Louis Jadot Pommard Commaraine:
Barrel sample. Bright ruby. Fruity, Christmas spices, elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit, good length. 86

2012 Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint Jacques:
Barrel sample. Bright ruby. Strawberries, spices and fruity nose, quite dense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lots of texture and structure, long finish. 90

2012 Louis Jadot Bonnes Mares malo
Barrel sample. Ruby. Red berries, scented, floral, spicy touch and fruity nose. Fresh acidity, high of ripe tannins, fruity, fruitier snd more body mid palate, long finish. 93

2012 Louis Jadot Bonnes Mares not yet malo
Barrel sample. Ruby. A bit reductive, all over the place nose, spicy and very primal. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, a little bit hollow mid palate, long finish. 93

Reason for difference of malo is that the finished wines was in new barrels, the other was in one year old barrels.
