2012 Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre:

Pale lemon yellow. Some apples, light citrus flower touch and very mineraly on the nose, on the tight side but slightly more giving than Butteaux. Fresh acidity, fruitier palate, mineralic backbone, refined and intense, nunaced and long. 94

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, gorgeous citrus notes, some floral touches, complex and layered. Fresh acidity, intense, fruity and layered, playful citrus and minerality, superb texture, incredibly long. 97

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, flinty notes, touch of yellow fruits, lemons and oranges on the nose. Fresh acidity, fruity and lively, again that flinty mineralic backbone, lmouthwatering, superb texture and structure, long. Instant pleassure. 94

Towards lemon yellow. Minerals, very ripe lemons and very ripe yellow apples on the nose. A touch of nuts, scented and floral, some beeswax and a touch of honey. Fresh acidity, more wax or maybe rather fuller body, lovely balance. Elegant finish, long. 92

1978 Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos:

Towards golden colour. Nuts, smoky minerals, almonds, some apples, orange marmalade touch. Fresh acidity, leaner style, elegant, lively, refreshing, elegant minerality, apple core and a slight bitter touch, lemons and lime and lemon zest. Very nuanced and layered. It may be in a bit of a decline, but still gorgeours. Long. 95
