1959 Ch Cantegril, 06 Reynon and 07 La Chapelle

1959 Château Cantegril:
(Served blind) Golden with amber hue. Caramelized apricots, fruity, elegant and lovely nose. Fresh acidity, lively. Superb balance, not the most complex but long and pure and alive. What a surprise! Directly from the estate. This is a below €20 wine! 90

2006 Château Reynon Rouge:
(Served blind) Ruby. Blueberries, cassis and a touch of prunes with air. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, the somewhat firm tannin structure of the vintage, pure fruit, good length. 86

2007 Jaboulet Aine Hermitage La Chapelle:
(Served blind) Bright ruby. Fruity, scented and with more air a touch of pepper. Cassis and leather nose. Quite Bordeaux like nose on this. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, leaner style, quite elegant, a bit uneasy tannins now, wait a few years, long. 93
