2010 Jacques Prieur Beaune 1er Cru Clos de la Feguine Monopole:
Bright ruby. Floral and some strawberries, ever so slightly mineral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, easy going, oak a bit showy for the fairly light body of this one, good length. 85

2010 Jacques Prieur Beaune 1er Cru Beaune Champs-Pimont:
Bright ruby. Bright ruby. Fruity nose, slightly scented. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and quite lively, structured but also rounded, good length. 87


2009 Jacques Prieur Beaune-Greves 1er Cru:
Bright ruby. Fruity, scented, floral nose, slightly sweeter fruit. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lovely texture, almost velvety, lovely fruit and good length. 88

2010 Jacques Prieur Volnay 1er Cru Champans:
Bright ruby with a purple tint. Scented, floral, very elegant nose. Layered. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit, good length. 89

2008 Jacques Prieur Corton Bressandes:
Bright ruby. Scented nose, red berries, just starting to evolve, some spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity but also leaner, or rather somewhat focused, transparent, lovely finish. 91

2011 Jacques Prieur Meursault Clos de Mazeray Monopole:
Pale lemon yellow. Some apples, touch of yellow fruits and minerals. Ever so slightly smoky. Fresh acidity, fruity, elegant, lively, refreshing, lovely balance. 90

2010 Jacques Prieur Beaune 1er Cru Champs-Pimont:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples and minerals with a touch of lemons on the nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, lively, elegant finish. 88

2010 Jacques Prieur Meursault 1er Cru Santenots:
Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, yellow fruits, touch of plums and some grapefruit. Fresh acidity, fruity and minerals, flinty touch and more focused palate, refreshing and nuanced. Almost salty finish. 92

2011 Jacques Prieur Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, citrus, some yellow fruits, subdued and elegant minerality. Fresh acidity, fruity, elegant and very lovely, transparent, gorgeous texture, very long. Delicate. 93+

2009 Jacques Prieur Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, yellow fruit, some minerals below. Somewhat fatter but not rich or full. Fresh acidity, elegant fruit and texture, more rounded than the '11, but also less nuanced and maybe refined. But still very elegant and long. 93

2009 Jacques Prieur Montrachet:
Towards lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, incredible nuance, some citrus, floral, layered and complex. Slightly creamy. Fresh acidity, richer palate, almost fat, smoky, coats the palate, very long and rich finish. 94
