1996 Legras, 2010 Pesquera and more


1996 Legras Saint-Vincent Brut:
Pale lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Apples, minerals and fruity nose, a slight bottle variation on the bottles I've tried this spring, this is the fruitiest, it's normally a bit tighter and somewhat narrower. Fresh acidity, lively mousse, apples and yeast on the palate, fruity again, long. 93

2012 Schloss Gobelsburg Riesling Urgenstein:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, some minerals, floral and water melon nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity and rounded palate, good length. 86

2010 Bouchard Bourgogne Blanc Réserve:
Pale lemon yellow, apples and a touch of wax on the nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, fairly lively, apply finish. 83

2011 Caveaux Comtadins Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Moulin Teyraud:
Ruby. Fruity, rich and alcoholic nose. Sweet. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, rounded texture, sweet, ripe and soft, good length. 85

2010 Pesquera Crianza:
Deep ruby. Fruity, blueberries, liquorice and some alcohol notes. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, not as oaky as some vintages, good length. 87
