2002 Heitz Cellar, Trailside Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon;
Dark ruby, some liquorie, lightly spicy, some pepper, blackcurrants, cigars, elegant fruit, good acidity, lots of ripe tannins, balanced and elegant with long finish, needs time. 90
2004 Hess Collecion, Mount Veder Cabernet Sauvignon;
Dark ruby, elegant nose, some spice, blackcurrants, coffee, chocolate and elegant dark fruits. Good acidity and tannin structure, balanced and well made, lacks very little to be fantastic, but it does not quite manage to thrill me. 85
2004 John Anthony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon;
Deep ruby, lots of spices, pepper, herbs, some chocolate, elegant, fresh and a bit different style but I cannot pinpoint what it is. 87
2005 Kapcsandy Estate Cuvee, State Lane Vineyard, Napa Valley;
Purple with ruby rim, great fruit, but there was too much talking so there was not much of a tasting note. But I remember a very fresh and lively acidity, that somehow is all I have noticed, and a score of 90
