One fantastic Rheingau and one fantastic Yquem.

2005 Robert Weil, Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Auslese Gold Cap;
Lemnon yellow, closed, pure and elegant, apples and minerals. Fantastic acidity, pure perfection in balance, complex, intence, almost lost for words. Extremelly long finish. The acidity just keeps on refreshing, truly beautifull. 96

1998 Chateau d'Yquem;
Golden colour, pure youth still, alle nuances one want's from a Sauternes, apricots, peach, apples, pineapples, botrytis, still some vanilla notes, pear, some minerals in the back. So complex and elegant, and still such gracefull intencity. Good acidity, needs another 20 years, extremelly long finish. Spriced that a 98 can be this beautifull. Love it. 96
