2000 Domaine de Chevalier;
Ruby, nice fruity blackcurrants, some barrel notes, liquorice and leather, very young, complex. Nice acidity, ripe tannins, a bit hollow in the mid palate at this stage, but I think this will develop nicely. Elegant and long finish. 92


1999 Domaine de Chevalier;
Ruby, liquorice, leather, some medicinal notes, dark berries underneath and some secondary aromas. Nice acidity, more fruit, ripe tannins, some green hints and herbs and bell peppers. Fresh finish. 87


1998 Domaine de Chevalier;
Ruby, pencil, some leather, very elegant nose, blackcurrants and coffee underneath, very complex. Youthfull, fresh, nice acidity, ripe tannins, some spices, very long finish. 89


1996 Domaine de Chevalier;
Ruby, Even more green hints, bell peppers, hints of leather. Delicious acidity, refreshing, ripe tannins, nice fruit, blackcurrants, some dried fruits and a good finish. 87
