Two from Burlotto and one Moccagata



2011 Burlotto Barbera d'Alba:
Towards opaque. Blackberries, dark fruits, somewhat scented and licorice. Fresh acidity, few and ripe tannins, elegant body and texture, a bit short. 87

2011 Burlotto Langhe Freisa:
Deep ruby. Smoked ham, redcurrants and some spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, focused and refreshing, elegant red berries, fine and layered, good length. 89

2011 Moccagatta Barbera d'Alba:
Deep ruby/purple. Plums, blackberries, licorice and floral notes behind. Fresh acidity, ripe and few tannins, elegant texture, almost creamy, long finish. 88
