Two tiny Right Bank wines made by Ausone winemaker
2010 Clos des Baies:
Deep ruby. Fruity, blueberries, vanilla, scented and dark berries. Layered nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant texture and balance. Long and fruit driven finish. Playful. Only 1800 bottles made by Ausone winemaker close to Tertre Roteboeuf. 80% Merlot and 20 Cabernet Franc. 91
2010 Clos Peyrol:
Ruby, elegant nose, layered of blueberries, black tea and dark fruits. Refined feel and flirting nose, not too intense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, mouthwatering, savory and again elegant. Long. 1322 bottles made from a tiny plot next to Vieux Château Certan. 100% Merlot. Made by Ausone wine maker. 92
